The production of charts with SmartGraphs is highly intuitive, and can be summed in just two actions:  the production of charts, and their adaptation.

Production

1) Highlight the relevant data in an Excel spreadsheet[1].

2) Launch the Slide Wizard, where you can further manipulate the data and quickly adjust any settings.

3) A complete chart slide is produced within seconds; all you need to do is review the results! Typically, the entire chart-creation process takes just 1-2 minutes per question. Moreover, you get much more than just the charts themselves:  SmartGraphs produces a complete, ready-to-use report slide, with the question text, basis information, legends, etc.

Adaptation

Rapid chart production is great, but that’s not all. The charts may look “clean”, but they probably don’t look quite the way you want them to. No problem! Adjusting a slide to your needs takes just a few minutes, and you only have to do it once. There are two ways you can go about it:

A) You can adjust the newly produced charts directly in PowerPoint (colors, fonts, placement, size, new elements, etc.), and then copy them right into the Design Library. From here on out, you’ll be able to use these new layouts via the Slide Wizard to create new charts: just the way you want them!

B) Alternatively, you can take your own slides from any existing presentation and copy them directly into the Design Library[2]! After a quick adaptation, the Slide Wizard will now accept this new layout as a template, so you can create slides of this type automatically for all future presentations – based on your own master!

It goes without saying, that for the slide background, logo, etc, you can import your own company’s slide template – with just one click!

The entire workflow with SmartGraphs can be illustrated like this:

The procedure is well structured, simple and intuitive – it only takes a few hours to learn how to use SmartGraphs!

[1] – The table must comply with a format that can be read by SmartGraphs. Naturally, the tables that we produce as part of our tabulation service comply with this requirement. If you use a proprietary table format, you will need a converter, which we can create for you free of charge – just contact us.
